4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle: Thanks GothGargoyle: Vintage 2013: Served in a Chouffe glass:
Brown to black pour. A medium sized vast and thick but live and quickly changing into an airy brown foamy head on top of a black colored beer.
Aroma of roast, coffee, chocolate, malts roast, some raspberries, some corn, some oatmeal, tar, wood roast and hints of leave roast and liquorice.
Flavours of coffee, bitters, roasted malts, roasted coffee, roasted wood, chocolate, some tar, cacoa, oat roast and nut roast.
Deep, dark, bitter complex flavours.
Aftertaste is bitter with coffee, chocolate and cacoa, some wood and malt roast and a hint of something porridge/branch a like.
Low carbo, creamy light spicy/tingly mouthfeel, full body and a creamy texture.
Expected more raspberries in the flavour, they should add more. But itís a good dark roasted stout that getís better, darker, more roasty and more bitter with a bit time and air!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle shared with Jeff. Pours black, but not quite thick. Medium dark tan head. Smell is dark fruit, maybe raspberry, chocolate is pretty big, dark roasted malts. Overall I found it to be a little thin, not much of the hops were left, and not very complex.

Lots of raspberry on the nose. Also lots of chocolate. I don't like the berries. It is drinkable but I wouldn't want too much.

Olga Fetchik was our town beautician, and one of Godís most unattractive creations since the aardvark. Anyway, over the years, Olga had been secretly squirreling away money for plastic surgery. Well, one day she left without telling anyone, had the surgery, and didnít return for months. Well, nobody could believe their eyes - Olga Fetchik had turned into a stunning beauty! Every man in town wanted her, but she ended up marrying St. Olafís most handsome and eligible bachelor, dance instructor Adolf Stepp. The two of them moved back to Norway, decided to get into show business, and they became the internationally renowed Scandinavian dance team of Stepp íní Fetchik.

Black pour, moderate tan head, decent lacing/retention. Aroma is raspberry, chocolate, licorice, light roast, light caramel, light darker fruit notes. Medium to full bodied, sweet raspberry chocolate flavor. Kind of pricey but would make a nice dessert beer.
