COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hidden in the beautiful dark amber color are aromas of vanilla and caramel that compliment perfectly the presence of bourbon. Soft oak flavors transition into a sweet yet slightly dry finish. After aging the ale for four months, the malt and hop complexity of Brrr has melded harmoniously with the bourbon barrels and become a truly one of a kind beer.

Ok, I really can’t translate in English how much I enjoyed this beer. And to think I was skeptical until that first taste! Beautiful aftertaste, absolutely wonderful. Highly recommended!

Copper, clear, beige head. Aroma of toffee, a little candi-sugar sweetness, vanilla, big bourbon character, and a floral, almost perfumy note. Flavor is malty in a sweet toffee way (but not a particularly deep or complex maltiness), warming alcohol, floral and perfumy notes, and a big dominant bourbon barrel character.

Pours a mahogany color. Nose is orange zest, newly mowed grass, caramel, pine cones, dates and hints of lemon tartness. Taste is caramel, grass, honey, pine. Very good aftertaste of bourbon, malt sweetness, figs and some booze. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a cloudy copper on tap with big fluffy off-white head that dissipates to leave moderate lacing. Aroma is faint of bourbon and sweet caramel malts, a hint of toasted oak. Taste is much ballsier, heavy oak and bourbon qualities with a bitter boozy ending. Interesting.

Dried fruit apricot mango, mango juice, finish is bitter. Lighter creamy, long finish that sticks the bitter to the back of your throat. As it warms you get this salted caramel thing going that’s awesome.

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2013 Pours dark reddish brown into snifter. Light in flavor with toffee and vanilla with a bit of a hop bite. Decent but I wont be ordering this again.

Pours a clear amber/ruby color with a medium white head. Aroma has boozy mild fruit and notable bourbon...lightly boozy...candied fruit and vanilla. Flavor has roasty malts and dry leaves...touch of fruit...vanilla and bourbon dominate the back end. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is earthy/bitter and bourbony.

Appearance: nice medium dark copper, cream color head. Nose: vanilla from the oak. Some hops peek through. Taste: Can definitely pick out oak influence - vanilla, dark caramel. Toasted nuts. Bittering hops balance things out. Not too sweet or overdone. Nice medium mouth feel.
