COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hidden in the beautiful dark amber color are aromas of vanilla and caramel that compliment perfectly the presence of bourbon. Soft oak flavors transition into a sweet yet slightly dry finish. After aging the ale for four months, the malt and hop complexity of Brrr has melded harmoniously with the bourbon barrels and become a truly one of a kind beer.

Thanks Mario for hosting your Winter Panel and including this one. Promising smooth bourbon aroma from this brassy pour. Tastes like a decent bourbon on the rocks after the ice melts, without other discernable beer character.

Pours a cloudy copper on tap with big fluffy off-white head that dissipates to leave moderate lacing. Aroma is faint of bourbon and sweet caramel malts, a hint of toasted oak. Taste is much ballsier, heavy oak and bourbon qualities with a bitter boozy ending. Interesting.

Dried fruit apricot mango, mango juice, finish is bitter. Lighter creamy, long finish that sticks the bitter to the back of your throat. As it warms you get this salted caramel thing going that’s awesome.

Pours a clear amber/ruby color with a medium white head. Aroma has boozy mild fruit and notable bourbon...lightly boozy...candied fruit and vanilla. Flavor has roasty malts and dry leaves...touch of fruit...vanilla and bourbon dominate the back end. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is earthy/bitter and bourbony.

Appearance: nice medium dark copper, cream color head. Nose: vanilla from the oak. Some hops peek through. Taste: Can definitely pick out oak influence - vanilla, dark caramel. Toasted nuts. Bittering hops balance things out. Not too sweet or overdone. Nice medium mouth feel.

Draft! Pours a dark amber color with a tan head. Aroma has hints of vanilla with a light bourbon smell. Taste was great and out of the four tasting they had for Widmer last night it was by far my favorite. Must be something to say since I ordered 2 13 oz pours after my tasting. worth the try.
