3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
I liked this beer for what it was - a solid wheat ale. However, the malt character and high alcohol content washed away the delicate fruity qualities of such a beer. While chilled it was great, and tasted great with hints of lemon, yeast and light hops. The aroma followed the same pattern, but was almost acidic and suggested a sour flavor. The only beer I’ve had where alcohol has killed it.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Sampled at the at 18th Richmond gathering. Clear yellow pour with faint ring of white. Wow this is crazy tart. Those grapes just dry out the palate something awful. Massively sweet and tart and like a sweet white wine. Interesting. Very acidic.

Decent. Pours a beautiful orange color. Smell is a light lemon smell. Taste is very lemony, very sweet and a little bit of sour. Quite a bit of alcohol overtones. Has a little bit of a malt liquor taste. Decent, but won't have again. Had in the bottle.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle @ home picked up at Wilbur’s Fort Collins and accidentally lost in the back of my fridge for a year. Pours a very hazy dark yellow orange appearance with an off white head that doesn’t have much retention. Slightly tart, herbal grape, somewhat spicy, a bit citrusy aroma. Flavor is fairly tangy/tart with a decent amount of tropical fruits, a ton of grape juice, and some spicy herbal elements. For the age, this still tastes pretty decent.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very wine-like, mostly of the muscat grapes. Flavor almost like a sweet wine. Mostly muscat grape flavor, maybe a hint of the lemongrass but not much. A little bitterness in the finish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled at Cajun Cafe’s 2011 Fall Beer Festival. Pours a mostly clear yellow-orange with a white head. Nose is lemony on the surface with some light grape notes under it and some sweet malt behind. Flavor is lemony at first followed by some mild sweetness and the light wheat behind. Interesting, the body is a bit thick for a wheat ale, but then it is a 9% wheat ale on top of that.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
The aroma is malty and slightly funky with a fruity/honey wine quality as well as an herbal citrus quality. The appearance is light hazy gold - orange with a small head. The taste is like the aroma with lots of alcohol. The palate is medium. Overall it’s interesting but not great.
