An extremely rich and complex beer. The addition of raspberries during the fermentation process results in an almost purplish opaque color with a beautiful brown head. Warm chocolate and roasty notes compliment the hop bitterness.

From 22oz bottle to shaker. Pours absolutely black with beige head. Smells like chocolate, raspberries, and oat. Nice thick imperial taste, however sweet berry-chocolate aftertaste, never expect any imperial beers to have any sweet properties. phenomenal beer

Aroma of chocolate, Raspberry and coffee. Pours a deep dark brown with a nice tan foamy head. Taste is very roasty , coffee like. The raspberry gets lost. A nice Stout.

Deep roasted malt aroma with hint berries. Pure black appearance with a thin foam rim. Intense flavors of cocoa, molasses, black patent malt and smooth raspberry notes. Full bodied and thick with strong alcohol presence. I’d give this an A rating. This is a unique Imperial Stout. I was initially put off by the "raspberry" in the name of the bear but it works extremely well as an undertone note.

Black pour with a tan head. Fruity, sweet nose of raspberry. Chocolate, roasted malt, cocoa, and coffee. Hints of licorice, honey, and molasses. Lots of raspberry sweetness to the flavor, too. Roast, chocolate, and coffee. Molasses sweetness, some honey, licorice, and a hint of alcohol.

Nose is a substantial amount of raspberries, along with chocolate, coffee, liqourice and honey. Some vanilla tones as well. Taste is raspberries, honey, cloves, vanilla, hints of liqourice. Quite the dessert! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

An interesting imperial stout. Was expecting something more unique however. Pours a thick black with a hint of purple. Smell is of chocolate covered fruit and caramel. Taste however is very coffee, like espresso. Once it opens up there is a very subtle raspberry hint, some sweetness, and some bitter finish. Had in the bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel aroma with weak hints of raspberry. Roasted malty spicy bitter chocolate flavor with hints of raspberry. Has a roasted malty bitter raspberry chocolate finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark brown body with a small fizzy light brown head that faded to a thin film. The nose is a pretty nice mix of raspberry notes and rich dark roasted malts with some chocolate and light burnt coffee. The flavor is rather sweet with a heavily roasted thick maltiness. The raspberry remains in the background for the most part, coming out on the finish a little, mixing with a heavy and thick sweetness. It comes across as a little too burnt and slightly acrid though, making it not the most easily drinkable of beers. The alcohol is on the hotter side, especially for this ABV. I think the heavily burnt malt somehow enhances the alcohol flavors adding to the lack of drinkability. Thick and sticky with soft fizzy carbonation. It coats the mouth so heavily that the finish just lingers on forever. This one would be OK in a small dose, but a bomber of this is a bit of a chore.

From a bottle poured a dark brown color with almost no head. Terrible fake raspberry flavor with a quick finish.
