Using rich Mexican chocolate nibs, cinnamon, toasted pecans, and green chilies, this brew will feature decadent chocolate notes with a subtle spice character to pique the taste buds. A complex blend of traditional southwest flavors brought to you by way of the Northwest.

From the 22 oz bottle. Pours dark brown with little head. Peppers, chocolate and nutty notes pop through in aroma. Taste is big chocolate body with a spicy nutty accent. Pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sample pour. Dark thin pour with a light khaki head. Nose is chocolate and hazelnut. Smooth and lightly sweet, a little caramel. Flavor is sweeter and smooth, caramel and nutty with chocolate all over. Not bad, not my favorite.

Black with almost a red hue.Too dark to show.Slight head. Aroma has some sweet nutty pecans(you wouldnt know it was this uless you read it-although it has a nutty character . synthetic plastic slightly),toastiness, chocolate, caramel.very slight cinnimon. Taste is chocolate, carmel, nutty, some toast, some spice.Fairly complex but almost watery or minerally.Bottle is over 6 mo. aged so maybe this would be more intense younger.Still a nice beer. A bit sweet, but not that rich and dosent seem like this high a abv.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a dark ruby-brown with a quarter finger of head that settles very quickly. No lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, hints of coffee, hay. Flavor is roasted malt, coffee up front, fading into cocoa tones and slight . Finishes with coffee, caramel, malty, nutty and mild soy sauce and alcohol tones. Slight bitterness that lingers and a slight pepper heat that builds after many sips. Soft to moderate carbonation and medium-heavy body. A strong, rich, malty brew but the pepper flavor doesn’t come through nearly as much as I’d have liked. The soy sauce and malt tones really come out as it warms making it a tough one to finish.
