Glen Falconer was passionate about friends, familly, and great IPAs. So in tribute, we’ve created an IPA worth of this master brewer. Made with Falconer’s Flight hops from Hopunion, LLC, a blend named for Glen himself. The result is a bright, moderately bitter IPA with stonefruit aromas and a strong malt backbone. We think Glen would approved. Proceeds from the sale of Falconer’s Flight hops go to the Glen Hay Falconer Foundation, providing scholarships to professional and aspiring brewers. In addition, Widmer Brothers Brewing is making a donation to grant two additional scholarships. Learn more at www.glenfalconerfoundation.org. Prost! To true hop heads.

Bärnstensfärgad med mellanstort ljust skum! Mycket malt i smaken och inte så humlig! Helt ok ipa

Bottle. Light amber, hazy, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, caramel and some tropical fruitiness, light citrus and grapefruit hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and caramel sweetish flavor, light toffee, some tropical fruitiness, light citrus and grapefruit hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and sweetish, some caramel and light fruitiness, some grapefruit - light citrus hoppyness. Sweetish IPA with caramel - way too sweet for me/could use more bitterness (and less caramel).

Ordered from Bierzwerg. Not really my kind of IPA. Balanced. Unmemorable. A bit dissapointing.

Was bottled in Nov 2012, so already getting on in age. But looked nice in the glass, although the head dissipated pretty fast. Not much aroma to speak of, but great malt flavour, just enough bitterness but that disappeared quickly too, like the head. Would try it again fresh to see if the lack of aroma was because of age...

Bottle from Barley Wine, Copenhagen - Colour is amber, with a good healthy off white head. Punchy citrus fruity hop taste and aroma, grainy caramel malt base. Great mouthfeel, good bitter finish. Really liked this.

12 oz. Bottle. Poured Amber with an orange hue, small off white colored head. No lacing. Aroma was nice with light citrus hops and some caramel malt notes. Taste was bright with citrus (grapefruit, peach and lemon). Body has a nice malt base with a lightly lingering bitterness. Overall for a bottled IPA that traveled across the U.S, it’s real decent.

Pours light gold with large white head that quickly diminishes. Hoppy and citrus aroma. Hop taste with fruity finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
