COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Glen Falconer was passionate about friends, familly, and great IPAs. So in tribute, we’ve created an IPA worth of this master brewer. Made with Falconer’s Flight hops from Hopunion, LLC, a blend named for Glen himself. The result is a bright, moderately bitter IPA with stonefruit aromas and a strong malt backbone. We think Glen would approved. Proceeds from the sale of Falconer’s Flight hops go to the Glen Hay Falconer Foundation, providing scholarships to professional and aspiring brewers. In addition, Widmer Brothers Brewing is making a donation to grant two additional scholarships. Learn more at www.glenfalconerfoundation.org. Prost! To true hop heads.

Was bottled in Nov 2012, so already getting on in age. But looked nice in the glass, although the head dissipated pretty fast. Not much aroma to speak of, but great malt flavour, just enough bitterness but that disappeared quickly too, like the head. Would try it again fresh to see if the lack of aroma was because of age...

12 oz. Bottle. Poured Amber with an orange hue, small off white colored head. No lacing. Aroma was nice with light citrus hops and some caramel malt notes. Taste was bright with citrus (grapefruit, peach and lemon). Body has a nice malt base with a lightly lingering bitterness. Overall for a bottled IPA that traveled across the U.S, it’s real decent.

355ml bottle. Clear dark amber colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Fruity, hoppy aroma with a touch of cherries, plum & the like, caramel malty background with hints of almond. Taste is minimally sweet and dry fruity, hints of cherries, plum, dry to bitter hoppy overtones with a touch of orange zest, malty background has a touch of caramel, some bitter almond. Too clean and restrained for my taste.
