2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear yellow, quick white head. Nose is apricot and pine. More astringent than bitter. Middle is alcohol & lightly kilned grain. Finish is bitter from hops and alcohol. I found this beer somewhat unbalanced.

Chalky, vehemently dry, rife with an petulant mouthfeel that’s just stubbornly bad. These two styles get together to buck heads and rap knuckles against one another. Bad.

Tap @ TacoMac, Cumming. Golden pour. Thin white foam, great lacing. Sweet, hop floral nose. Fruity scent. Hoppy flavor. Alpha bitterness, sweet malts, very well done. Big flavor complexity. Lager yeast esters, big NW hops, loads of pale grains. This maybe my favorite Widmer. (3876)

Not your daddy's lager. This has a fruity hoppy aroma as well as taste. Extremely smooth and easy drinking.

Bottle. Wow, a lager? This is good beer. Plenty of hop and body and aroma. Crisp. Could drink a lot of this on a hot day, which is what a lager is good for I guess.

Sample from bottle @sbwf13. Clear golden with white head. Aroma fruity and crisp; citrus, flowers, grass and pine together with a clean malt profile. Taste is soft, fairly dry, same hop notes as in the nose. Pleasant beer

12oz bottle. Unfiltered golden-tan. Frothy white head. Really well done, destined to be unappreciated by the RB elite. Big melon citrus hop tones. Really respectable offering, I don’t know how you could knock it. Golden malt lager tones give it that touch of extra depth, balance. This beer is phenomenal. Fantastic beer! Citra hop Lager...with some depth, but thankfully not overbearing, imperial, double, ect.

Pours a fairly standard gold with white head. Aromas are pungent pissy hops. A balanced pleasing bitterness throughout. Nice.

Bottled. Clear golden-orange, frothy head. Mellow hop nose: peach, floral and resiny notes, a hint of grass. Slightly toasted maltiness with a touch of caramel. This clean maltiness hints towards lagers. Soft, dryish and malty flavor. Round bitterness, slightly vegetal in the finish. Very round and soft palate. Would be nice with food, but lacks some character as such.

Hazy amber beer, good white head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Thin malt base, quite sweet caramel. Good citric orange and tangerine hops. Nice pine. Finishes bitter. Good.
