We’re turning things deliciously upside down with an aggressively hopped cold-fermented brew that brings together the clean crisp finish of a lager with the hoppy aroma and character of an IPA. PROST! To turning convention on its head.

Pours transparent slightly golden mostly yellow and leaves the same colored body, leaves a one finger white foamy head that quickly dies within a half a minute, barely any lacing shows any presence, but what there is clings slightly in rings; the aroma has citrusy hops, just a little bit of malt, and a bit of spiciness coming through, the flavor is slightly sweet, citrusy, spicy; long lasting spicy aftertaste, quick dry finish; its pretty easy on the palate; overall, good American Pale Lager that I would have again

Bottle. At b-laws. Honey golden color. Medium light bitterness. Average carbonation. Hops are pretty fresh tasting. Decent mouthfeel. Tastes more like a pale ale. Not sure about a lager.

Pours a clear golden yellow. Aroma of grape and citrus. Mild well balanced. The lagering tempers the sweetness and bitterness. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear gold with an orange tinge, head is a clean white that proves lasting. Aroma of lime and citrus, flowers, and a light spice. Flavor is a light bitter hop bite at first followed by some spice, pine, and sweet citrus. Palate is light with a slight carbonation. A good session IPA. -Fish!

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (resin, grapefruit, flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately to heavily bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Pretty good for Widmer...no off notes, although it’s certainly one-dimensional. Pretty good balance too. Simple, ordinary, and I’m not a fan of the resin of course, but it could have been much worse.

Poured a finger of head on a clear, light straw colored body. The aroma is a sharp pine and lemon. Upfront and good. The taste has moderate pine bitterness with a clean malt finish. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. It’s a great mixture of lager and IPA. Nicely hopped with a clear body and a clean finish.

Poured into shaker. Pours golden yellow with quick disapearing white head and nice lace. Smell of citrus and grass. Not overly bitter a nice clean beer.

355ml bottle @ Kaisla

Pours clear golden with a foamy head. Aroma of grassy hops, caramely malts, some hints of aged hoppy notes and vegetables. Taste is grassy, hoppy and slightly caramely with hints of bready malts and sweet citrus. Finish is sweetish, caramely and hoppy with hints of grass and bready malts. Okay, but doesn’t feel very fresh.

Golden orange pour with white quickly dissipating head. Toasted aroma with a bit orange caramel to top it off. Interesting mix of the sweet and bitter duration with a crisp finish. Definitely would go for another.
