Weíre turning things deliciously upside down with an aggressively hopped cold-fermented brew that brings together the clean crisp finish of a lager with the hoppy aroma and character of an IPA. PROST! To turning convention on its head.

Noticed on bottle that this is a lager and not an ale, so my expectations was pretty low for it. Light amber brew with a small head. Oddly it almost smells like transmission fluid, luckily I donít mind that aroma since I like working on old trucks. Taste is pine, spice, hint of citrus. Has to be the best lager I have ever had.

Enjoyable, smooth IPA. Nothing extraordinarily distinctive but still well crafted. --- Beer in my belly makes me hoppy.

Bottle from GBBF 2013 and drunk at home. Clear gold lasting thin white head. Itís hoppy yes. A little empty in the malts. Itís fine. Hoppy yes, bitter. Itís ok but lacks a touch of character. More hoppy and bitter on the finish. Decent though.

On tap. Pours a clear dark yellow. No head or lacing. Nose is fant, a bit grassy with some malt maybe? Attack is a bit bipolar, thereís some hop and grass notes, but some Budweiser malt notes too. Finishes clean but unremarkably.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a light copper color with decent white head. The nose is full of dank, herbal hops. Slightly sweet on the tongue. Nice herbal bitterness kicks in at the end. Light to medium body with a fairly crisp finish. Not half bad.
