COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We’re turning things deliciously upside down with an aggressively hopped cold-fermented brew that brings together the clean crisp finish of a lager with the hoppy aroma and character of an IPA. PROST! To turning convention on its head.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle dated 10-27-3-JAN 08 14. The pour is pale yellow with a notable white fizzy head. The aroma is pretty basic with biscuit malts and light hops. I expected the hops to be more forward. The body is light and refreshing. The taste has a forward hop fruitiness along with the toasted malts. Not bad.

Bottle. Pours a hale orangey golden yellow with a decent-sized, white head. Aroma is fruitily zesty, kiwifruit, orange, grapefruit, some graininess. Taste is grapefruity, dry and bitter, some grain. Fairly light with high carbonation. Pretty nice, especially, I imagine, when fresher.

Idiosynkrasie (3593) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAY 8, 2014
355ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Herbal hoppy aroma, slightly piney and citrusy, hints of lime. Taste is moderately bitter hoppy, slightly citrusy, notes of lime and lemon, a touch of orange zest, biscuity malt basis. Indeed, clean and crisp, IPA-like - very nice.

Bottle:Golden, big and loose White head; sweet caramel and dryish piney hops in the all in all bitter nose; robust bitter and sweet flavour, tart and relatively light bodied; lingering hoppy and caramelly finish. Very pleasant, hard to believe that this is an american Lager...

Bottle, bought @ Kvickly, Middelfart. Pours clear darkish golden with a small, frothy, white head. Aroma has citrus, fat malts, resin, grapefruit. Medium, prickly carbonation, fine dry and quite oily mouthfeel. Flavour has fat malts, peach, grapefruit, resin. Good, lingering bitterness. Fine and elegant.

kramer (4860) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 24, 2014
Bottle. Pours a clear light copper body with a one finger frothy white head that left some sticky lacing. The nose is just lightly hoppy with some caramel and toasty maltiness. The flavor is pretty bland and boring with a minimal hop bitterness and a fairly clean caramel malt base. Very short finish with just a light lingering bitterness. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Not all that big of a fan of this one. The malt is just a little too heavy for the amount of hops.

I would be the first to dismiss this beer just because it’s a lager. I bought it on accident..... I have never felt so good about a mistake in my life. This is a fantastic beer. If anything the lagering put the hops farther to the front than in most ipas. The body is very much more ipa like. It’s thicker than a lager normally is. Very good, I would get this again and not just cuz its cheap like with normal lagers.

Clear golden color. Light hop and malt aromas. Some citrus and grass smells. Medium carbonation. Not much of a front taste somewhat flat mouth feel. but the back taste is smooth with floral and citrus notes. Overall this is probably more of a pale ale but it’s a decent beer.
