COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We’re turning things deliciously upside down with an aggressively hopped cold-fermented brew that brings together the clean crisp finish of a lager with the hoppy aroma and character of an IPA. PROST! To turning convention on its head.

Pours a clear yellow on tap with bubbly white head and decent lacing, bubbly carbonation rising up. Aroma is spicy floral hoppiness and hints of grass. Taste follows, clean and bright with the hop flavor. Interesting, no real finish but well done for what it is, a lagered IPA.

Meh, pretty disappointed given how much I typically Widmer brews. Don't care for the taste or the mouthfeel. Glad I didn't get a sixer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is a mix of pine and grass with some biscuit malt. Flavor is similar. I get some juicy orange notes as well as some nice pine. The biscuit malt keeps the beer from being too bitter. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Aurelius (4379) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAY 10, 2013
Clear gold, tall head in a goblet, good label. Hoppy, malty golden ale aroma - nothing special, but OK. Lemony, moderately sweet, back-of-the-tongue bittering. Starchy mouthfeel, bitter finish. Don’t run over any schoolchildren to pick one of these up. ABC Liquors, Betton.

A mild IPA but very refreshing. Great since the weather is warming up. Solid hops with a light-medium body. Not too potent and very session-able.

Clear golden pour with a big soapy white head. Nice pine, grapefruit peel, and orange hops. Sweet bready malt, a little bit of biscuit, and some yeast. The flavor is quite crisp and very nice. Grapefruit, pine, and orange. Lightly bitter, some bread, and biscuit. Light grass note on the finish.

Really nice Creamy head! Pours clear yellow with good carbonation. Nice floral aroma. Rich hop flavor that is smooth, somewhat bitter. Nice mouth feel. Great bitter flavor on the back side. A really nice beer!

Crisp gold pour with a white head. Nose is bitter, piney, grainy, and fresh. Easy on the palate, heavy bitter hops up front, grain, and a smooth finish.

Bottle. Pours orange with a thick white head. Aroma is tangerine from the hops. Hoppy flavour medium to full body. Rather bland finish.

Bottle from central market. Pours a pale gold color with a light white head. Aroma is biscuity and malty. Some hops. Watery flavor, light hops. This was rather disappointing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
