COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We’re turning things deliciously upside down with an aggressively hopped cold-fermented brew that brings together the clean crisp finish of a lager with the hoppy aroma and character of an IPA. PROST! To turning convention on its head.

From a 12oz bottle. Poured in a Corsendonk glass. Pours gold with significant head and lace. Aroma of sweet malts. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of straw and grassy hops, minerals, caramel, some bitterness. Overall big in bitter hops flavors with some malt sweetness.

Light and hazy pour, like a macro lager on a cloudy day. Nothing special on the nose. Malty sweetness with a hoppy blast on the trailing end. An interesting blend of the lager and pale ale styles, but I think this beer lacks for much more than that academic experience. Kind of feels like it pulls in the worse aspects of the two styles along with the good. A nice crispness, though.

Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130814]

Bottle. 7.0%. Best before 20.11.14. Pours a clear, slightly pale straw yellow with an off-white head. Decent lacing. Hop aroma, somewhat fat and with a cheesy feel to it. Flavour is hoppy and a bit fat, bordering grainy. Bitter finish, somewhat dry, with a mild alcohol burn and slight grassy note lingering. Overall good with a decent hop profile. 07.03.14.

16oz pour at Station 4 in Washington DC. Pours a clear gold with some thick, frothy white head. Nose is fairly solid, some pungent citrus, lemon, orange, a little pine, some mild yeast. Flavor follows along, a distinct malt character, a little bready, a bit of metal, but then all lemon, orange, pine, soap. Crisp finish. Solid.

Bottle, BBOTMC. Clear gold. Pine, some grass. Bitter, sweet, malty undertones but all in all quite crisp. Medium body, hoppy finish.

Pours a pale yellow color with a white head. Aroma of pepper, grain, and lemon. Pepper and grain flavor. Kind of bland flavor, but great lacing.

Draft. Clear dark gold color with a white head that settles to a film leaving some nice lacing. Carbonation is lasting. Faint peppery-spice aroma but not much else. Medium-light body. Fairly clean flavor of malt, pilsner-like. Slightly dry finish. Not a "wow" beer, but not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Got a Windemer sampler pack from Ralphs. Not much smell. Yellow and clear. Pretty smooth and a tiny bit watery. A tiny bit of sour (that’s bad to me). It’s an ok beer from a sampler pack.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 Appearance: pours a 1" fluffy white head which recedes quickly leaving moderate lacing. Color is clear light gold. Abundant streaming carbonation. Aroma: hop oil dominates the aroma but there is some yeasty aroma and bread dough along with some fruity aroma. Mouthfeel: mostly light and watery with an oily stickiness and a dry finish. Flavor: bitter citrus hops combine with sweet barley malt and some raisin/plum flavor. Overall: an interesting hybrid beer that truly tastes like you combined a lager with an IPA.
