COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We’re turning things deliciously upside down with an aggressively hopped cold-fermented brew that brings together the clean crisp finish of a lager with the hoppy aroma and character of an IPA. PROST! To turning convention on its head.

Old gold to amber pour with a 2 finger, soapy off white head. Aroma is citrus, stone fruit, toast, bready malts and somewhat of a briny, meaty character. Flavor is lightly sweet and fruity caramel up front, sweet and bitter citrus, sweet grass, bread and finishing with citrus, light pine and a briny note again. Medium body with a syrupy, oily entry, moderate strength, blanketing and quite sharp carbonation and quite dry, but still slightly oily finish. Smells and tastes decent, but the palate leaves much to be desired.

I was looking forward to the return of this beer from Widmer. A unique cross of lager with the hop profile of an IPA. Beautiful golden color in the glass. Easy to drink and finishes with a little dryness. I don’t find the 6.7 ABV too overwhelming.

Clear golden pour with minimal head—no lacing. Aroma of grass and biscuit. Flavor is semisweet, malty with a herbal bitterness. Very enjoyable up front, but a lingering dryness to the finish.

Dull hoppy aroma. Wew, first taste is a big kick in the palate and now I see its almost 7% wew. Chewing on older green grapefruit rinds. Over the top and too much for these girlie taste buds. Finish is like licking slick oily liquid soap. Terribly on style if this is an doubly impy pale ale. Clean clear taste of a lager or do you imperial pilz? Brutally on hoppy style something strong or imperial.

Clearish gold, light gold, light head. Average carb. Aroma is minimal on hops with light fruit notes and mostly a minerally light toast/caramel character. Light floral maybe. Bottle is only a few months old and this is seasonal? I believe. Taste is of a toast malt buiscuit with some slight roast and light toffee/ caramel. Has some hop fruit in flavor with a light slickness. Bitter is kind of spicey like with grapefruit and minty pine. Hop flavor and bitter is there but aroma is lacking. Something a bit diety tasting in the nature of the bittering/hops in this though. Not too bad overall though.

Poured from bottle, pours a clear dark gold with a bubbly white head, the aroma has a good amount of fruit and hops with a kick of grain as well, the flavor has a hop and citrus front end with a sweeter finish at the same time, hoppy sweet juice, huh.

12oz bottle pour, two finger white foam head. Light golden to amber color. Nice floral smell, very much caramel taste on the start with a crisp, slightly bitter finish.

on tap at Dog & Bull in Croydon - Really good! A nice, hoppy, sweet IPA. Nice aroma and flavor. I’ll definitely look for this again.

It poured a hazy orange color with a white head. The aroma was of pine, resin, a touch of fruity notes and some bread with malt notes. The taste was crisp, clean, bitter with mild citrus and pine notes. Nice.
