"A wry take on IPA".
Intensely hoppy, distinctly spicy.

On draft somewhere in town. Pours a clear copper with a thin white head. Big citrus hop nose with lots of bready, spicy rye popping through. Nice bready rye spice body with a touch of caramel in the taste. Taste also has a nice resiny citrus notes as well with a clean finish.

Nice malt character in this one. Some grassy hops shine through but the rye is dominant here. Has somewhat of a watery finish but nothing off putting. Well balanced. Ill have this again.

Pours dark orange with a thin off white head. Leaves nice lacing. Great aroma of pine and grapefruit. Taste is pine, grapefruit, and rye. Nice bitterness and the rye is just right. This is really good.

Bottle poured a clear amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of pine, grapefruit,m skunk bud, tangerine, melon and light rye. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of rye, pine, grapefruit, light skunk bud and light earthiness with as smooth dry bitter lingering earthy finish.

Another rotator winner in my book. It has a load of bitterness but it is working in concert with some serious rye spice and a good hit of Nelson Sauvin and Galaxy. Getting some grape notes from the Nelson that match the spice.

12 oz bottle. Clear amber with a thick, dense, beige head. Aroma of bright citrus, grapes, light caramel and a bit of spiciness. Flavor is bitter hops and lightly sweet caramel malt, the dry hopping is evident. Medium body with average carbonation and a dry, spicy, bitter finish. Very nice IPA, reminds me of their Nelson IIPA but with more malt and spicy rye character.

12 oz bottle - a definite rye aroma and flavor. The malt jumps up and down on your tongue and screams "Here I am! Knock me off the mountain!" The hops jump up and make a valiant effort, but the malt is king of this hill. Nice beer.

Pours clear copper / amber with a small beige head. The aroma has fruit hops, white grapes, mildly toasty malt, moderate sweetness and a hint of spice - quite pleasant. Medium body with a bit of a grainy feel and underscored carbonation. The flavor starts out with a balance of caramel malty sweetness and fruity/spicy hops that show off the Nelson Sauvin quite well. There is a mild syrup aspect that is not intrusive or cloying, but actually compliments the beer. The finish finally show some of the rye spiciness. There is also a touch of pine showing its way through. Nice dry lingering finish going on. Really nice IPA at a very nice price.

Great beer. Pours dark amber with a small white head. Nose is hoppy with sweet florals and a hint of rye and fruit.. Palate is big hoppy bitter up front with malts and rye . Light bubble with a bit of bite. Definitely one I’ll be tracking down again.
