Clear amber color. Light hops smells a slight malt sent arises as well. It has a nice hoppy start that is nicely contained before it runs to far. It leaves the palate surprisingly refresh for an IPA.

Clear brown colour, minimal head. Hoppy aroma with some caramel. Taste is only slightly bitter. Tingly mouthfeel due to cheerful amount of bubbles. Nice IPA.

bkurtz (724) - PERU - JUL 8, 2013
Pour amber with a slight haze. Nice aromas of pine, citrus and what I want to say is rye. A nice balance with the taste. The rye something that I am not sure I like or not, but this is a well made brew that I enjoyed.

GIJOE (468) - Monterey, California, USA - JUL 4, 2013
Pours amber, foamy head that stays long. Aroma hoppy. Flavor nicely blended hop bitterness and toasted malt. Medium body, lively carbonation. Decent IPA.

improvjock (317) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 2, 2013
Bottle. Pours a copper brown with off-white head. Aroma of citrus and floral hops, but well-balanced by rye and malts. Taste is well-balanced between the hops and malts, slight bitterness in the finish.

jstraw (1900) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 2, 2013
Copper with decent, creamy, beige head , light lacing / Sweet, earthy nose of caramel, spun sugar, pine, citrus / Medium body, chewy, sweet but good balance and hop bite, with big bitter finish / Flavors of fresh caramel, grapefruit, pine, rye spice / Very nice in a sweeter, maltier style, and this bottle may be a little past its prime.

Patrickctenchi (3075) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - JUN 28, 2013
Pours nearly clear, deep amber with a thick, tan head. Caramel, grapefruit, spiced aroma. Taste is a spicy blend of hops, caramel, rye. Very smooth with a soft, herbal/grapefruit bitter. Very good.

EdInSaltLake (517) - Salt Lake City, Utah, USA - JUN 26, 2013
Herbal, fruity, spicy and light cereal-ish aroma. Flavor is tangerine-like fruit, herbal, pretty spicy (from both the rye and hops, I assume). Grainy rye malt flavor, with some sweetness. Moderate bitterness.

Straightforward IPA with a nice mix of rye and hops; some grapefruit bitterness. Dry finish.
