3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma is hops, dirt caramel and some honey notes. nice caramel color, lots of head retention due to carapils. Mouthfeel is nice. The rye flavors definitely jump out at you. Pretty straight ahead, crystal, rye, pale malt combo. The rye just doesn’t seem like it works with these south of the hemisphere hops. after taste is pretty dry, bitter, and sour. Nice beer just not all that great. Enjoyability 3/5.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear copper color, head that quickly drops to rim, lots of dots of lace. Taste is caramel malt overtaken by cleansing hops. The two move in tandem to the finish. Excellent food beer (especially pizza!), uncomplicated, easy to drink. Recommended.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Moderate hop aroma, with a touch of rye. Pours a clear amber with a thin white head. The hops and the rye come together quite well in this, leaving a long rye finish. If you like rye and you like IPA’s, this is one to try, especially at the price point.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
I feel like my eyes were just opened this weekend to rye IPAs and this was probably the best of the bunch.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On draft at the brass tap, poured a light amber color with aromas of light rye, grapefruit, and some light pine. Flavors are the same, ok IPA overall.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A - Pours a brilliant amber body with crystal clear clarity. 2 fingers of moundy off-white foam slowly sinks leaving heavy patterns of lacing.
S - Sweet grapefruit right off the top. Some rye and sweet malt malt in the background.
T - Sweet malt blankets over the tongue before citrus hops comes in right along with a spicy lavender rye, wicking most of the sweetness away. The hops are slow to build and seem to get stronger all the way through to the aftertaste. The caramel malt blends very well and holds it’s ground. Finishes with a spicy bite.
M - Heavier body, low to medium carbonation.
Good flavor combinations that were layered very well. The flavors change nicely throughout the drink. Great usage of sweet and rye malts and a nice hop profile as well. This would go great with Pad Thai or Panang.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle pours a clear copper color with a thick white head that leaves pretty good lacing. Smells of rye, pine, and grapefruit and tropical notes. Tastes of all the same things in the smell with slight caramel and the rye really comes through. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy with good carbonation. Overall this is a really good ipa. The rye is very prevalent in a good way. I will definitely try this again.
