3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rather dark for an IPA; a dark shade of amber with an off-white head. Spicy hops and rye with some citrus notes. Grapefruit and orange peel with a hint of pine. Sweet caramel malt in there as well. The flavor is a bit sweeter/maltier than I’d like. Quite a bit of rye character to it. Spicy hops and rye with bitter pine and a bit of orange peel and grapefruit on the finish.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle @ home piced up at Wilbur’s Foco. I think I last had this four years ago at the brewery and enjoyed it. This pours a rust orange appearance with a cream colored head. Big spicy rye, spicy hoppy, mild skunk bud, piney aroma. Grapefruity, ganja, very spicy hoppy, big rye spicy, mild caramel flavor. Pretty fun beer to drink. I got this in a mix six pack, but I’d pick up a six pack.
