4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 steelers (35) - Minnesota, USA - AUG 8, 2012UPDATED: SEP 13, 2012 So it is warmer out today then the last time I rated this beer. Still enjoy it and will buy it again. Poured into a glass slighty cloudy, orange-yellow. First smell is grapefruit, pine and citrus. Tasting hops and grapefruit with some grassy notes and spiec. Very refreshing. Still loving it.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 mikey (504) - farmington, Utah, USA - MAY 20, 2013
Made with grapefruit peel, it has light grapefruit in the nose with a sweet grainy malt is present. Seems rather spicy and earthy as well. The hop bitterness balances well with the lightly sweet caramel and biscuity malt. Pine, grass, and earthy hops are up front, and yet finish with a nice citrus and spicy punch. A very tasty offering.

I like the idea of adding dried grapefruit to the boil. I might have to try that next homebrew.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 wnoble (920) - French Lick, Indiana, USA - APR 22, 2013
Pour is medium amber, head is white. Nose is medium fruity hops, grapefruits, spicy bitter citrus pith and some caramel and toasty maltyness. Flavor lends more of the same fruity and spicy flavors, with some sharp bitters mixed in. Overall a drinkable and more balanced IPA in terms of malt and hops. Not bad.

18th August 2012 Light haze on this amber beer. Tidy pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and smooth with a little fine carbonation. Nice hops - nettley pine and tangy sherbet ciitrus. Finishes smooth with an intense hoppy aftertaste. Really like the sherbet character here.

Poured a light orange, very similar to honey. Smelled and tasted mostly of pine. Slight citrus tastes. The bitterness is up front and lasting. Great sipping beer
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Ericular (230) - Minnesota, USA - FEB 9, 2013
From a bottle, dated August 12th, making this one almost 6 months old. I wish more breweries would specify "Best By" dates so I could go easy on an old beer. Anyway - aroma is citrus and grapefruit. Taste is definitely heavy on the grapefruit. Not an overpowering taste, but tilted a little too much towards grapefruit in the relatively bitter finish. Drinkable, not terrible, but I didn’t want a second one.
