Clear pale amber with small white head and lots of small bubbles like champagne. Smells sweet, and lightly floral, like honeysuckle. Flavor is more "spiced". Clove and cardamom, star anise. Tasty and interesting with a hop bitter bite on the finish. good stuff.

Fresh, fruity, biscuity AIPA aroma. After it warms, it reminded me of biscuits and marmalade. Average bottle and label. Mostly (if not) clear orange brew. Just weird - not unpleasant, but weird. Peppery, bready, good bittering. I will finish this one, but if I’d had a sixpack then five would have ended up as marinade - because they would be good for that. Or mac and cheese sauce base. Or braising cabbage. It’s just not wonderful drinking. A starchy mouthfeel, with a hoppy and black pepper aftertaste. Widmer swings, Widmer misses.

Sampled on 7/5/12. This IPA pours a slightly hazy orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head, with decent lacing and nice retention. The aroma is fruity and sweet, spicy and hoppy. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet, orange and orange peel. The hops are grapefruity and piney. The spices and there are lots of them, Malty Assam Black Tea, Ginger, Cinnamon, Clove, Star Anise, Black Pepper, and Cardamom, really mix well with the hops. I keep picking up something slightly different each sip. Good carbonation. I have really enjoyed this series of beer. Some more would be nice. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Pours a clear yellow golden color with a nice white head. Aroma is herbal tea and other spices. The taste is very interesting. It reminds me a little of a stone beer I had with Yams recently but there’s no yams here. All of the flavors mix together in a nice, somehow drinkable beer. It’s really surprisingly good.

Draft. Hazy gilden yellow color, large fluffy white head, great lacing. Aroma of freshly cut wet grass. Taste is bright grass and pine. Very nice.

Bottle. Poured a darker orange color with a smaller white head left some lacing on the glass as it went. Aroma was pine and spruce. Flavor was spice and hops. Longer finish. Hops in there. Decent beer.

12 ounce bottle from a Kroger. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of tea, ginger, clove, grapefruit and caramel. The taste is tea, spices, ginger, grapefruit, pale malts. Medium bodied. Interesting.

Bottle. Pours clear light copper with a big offwhite head, some carbonation, and decent lacing. The aroma is pretty much straight pine, nothing complex. The taste is just off, really funky and not enjoyable. Watery palate and a weird finish. Drain pour.

Bottle: Poured a orange with a bubble carbonated off white head. Aroma is spice and hops. Taste is a peppery spice with hops and fern to aloe middle. There is more pop of spice in the end that tingle the tongue.

Bottle:   Straw colored, a bit hazy, moderate to large foamy white head, spotty lacing.   Strong cardamom and ginger nose.   Not what I was expecting at all.   Slight cinnamon and pepper as it warms.   Odd beer, spicy more than it is an IPA.   Seems like a Pale Ale with an assload of spices.   Not sure what to make of this, seems like a fancy soapy/fragrant IPA.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   More IPA on the finish, but super fragrant.   Not bad, different, but this really needs to be put on wood or perhaps been on a bigger beer.   Interesting change at least.
