Very enjoyable IPA with a nice copper color and good head retention. The aroma of the hops and spices are excellent when opening the bottle. The complex blend of hop bitterness with the spices have a nice aftertaste. I will be purchasing this selection again.

First time trying a widmer brother and came out liking it shot. The smell had a nice hoppy aroma, the appearance was a semi dark IPA, the after taste was somewhat of a weird taste but good, would definitely have another if I could.

Bottle poured a clear golden amber with a lasting off white head. Aromas of straw, cardomom, tea, grapefruit and pine. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, tea, cardomom, grapefruit and light pine with a crisp dry bitter lingering spiced finish.

Poured from bottle. Aroma of ocean, pepper and bread. Clear gold, lively head. I taste pepper, banana, spice, hops (which blend very nicely), sweet malt. Crisp feel. Good stuff.

Tasted at NYC Craft Beer Festival. Complex aroma with rye, caraway, citrus, coriander, distant cinnamon. Dry spicy finish. Very nice, out of the box.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a brandy snifter. Appearance is a translucent copper roughly the color of a freshly steeped cup of tea. White head of foam with decent retention. Aroma is really quite interesting. If you aren’t into spiced beers, this probably isn’t one for you, but if you are, this one is quite nice. Lots of Alice in the aroma with a heavy influence from the tea used, it comes through quite nicely and cuts through the bitterness of the IPA. I could handle drinking a few of these. Taste is semi-sweet with a dry, herbal finish. As odd as it sounds, this is a great porch beer.

Pours a clear gold with a medium white head. Aroma has notable ginger and clove...fascinatiing...some scents im not used too but pleasant. Flavor follows suit...clove, ginger, cinnamon but still hoppy with good bitterness...black tea is faint but present. Mouthfeel is medium/full with a spicy/piney finish that lingers...fascinating and tasty.
