Pours amber gold with a white smear. Large citrus aroma - with resin/spice? Flavor is citrus, then heads toward resin. It is clean and refreshing. Finishes smoothly bitter.

A: The beer pours a clear golden orange color with a finger of white head. S: Smells nice and citrusy with a moderate sweetness to it. Some light tropical fruitiness with some hints of peach. Nice grapefruit and orange notes and a hint of malt sweetness to the beer. T: Plenty of sweet citrus and other fruit flavors. Not terribly bitter, but enough pine notes to keep it from being too sweet. Some bready malt notes and perhaps a hint of caramel. M: Medium in body with a moderate level of carbonation. O: Not an overly amazing IPA, but it had a nice flavor and was really easy to drink.

Bottle. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy earthy complex hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy smooth bitter flavor with a moderate to heavy bitterswwet finish of medium to long duration. This a very good brew.

Bottle @ home. Golden orange appearance with a big, fluffy, white head. Quite potent spicy, peppery, grapefruity, citrusy hoppy nose. Peppery, pretty strong grapefruity hoppy flavor over a pretty good pale malty body. Peppery, grapefruity aftertaste. Tasty brewsky.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA, opened 5/13/11. Pours a clear amber color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of citrus hops, mango and caramel. The taste is citrus and tropical hops with a malty finish. Medium bodied. Decent balance but a little anemic nonetheless.
