Mar 12, 2007 Updated: Mar 23, 2007Bottled. Black with brief head. Aroma of licorice and vanilla. Fairly sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Very roasty. With it’s clean mouthfeel and light body it feels more like a sharp dark ale than a creamy milk stout. A bit prototypic and simplistic.

Mar 20, 2007 Bottled (thanks kenb!). Black colour, not much head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and some nuts. Flavour is roasted malts, flowery hops and some caramel. Feels a bit unbalanced.
