COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with 6 different hop varieties and 3 different grains, including wheat, Upheaval will be a fitting tribute, not only to the bold Northwest-style IPA, but to Kurt and Rob Widmer’s unapologetic attitude in legacy of innovation.

Bottle from Valhalla’s Goat. Hazy amber body with a thin, lasting off-white head. Steady carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of honey, lemon and pine. Flavour of sweet malt, grapefruit, boozy orange, leafy hops and flowers. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Lively fizz. A typical US IPA (in other words, it’s hoppy but the malt is a bit sickly sweet).

UPDATED: FEB 20, 2015 Hazy golden pour with thin white head. Maybe it’s the haze, it appears dense and inviting. The aroma beckons with heavy citrus and floral notes. While the flavor carries citrus and pine, it’s smoothed mos likely by the addition of wheat. Finish is quite bitter, which is an excellent ploy to get me sipping more frequently. Pretty delicious brew.

355ml bottle from a licquor store in Tallinn, hazy orangeish gold colour, small frothy mostly vanishing white head, fair lacing. Moderately malty aroma of crain and cookie with heavy resiny, citric and earthy hops with a bit of tropical fruit. Taste is initally lightly sweet and acidic, turning quickly into a long heavily bitter finish. Medium to full body, slick mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quie a solid IPA, fair bit above the average of the ones I tried.

Medium amber, clear, Medium body, intense flavors, refreshing mouthfeel, long palate. Very bitter, dry, good acidity. Powerful hop flavors, floral, resiny, just a hint of malt. A beer to wake you up, too bitter to have more than a little at a time. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
