COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with 6 different hop varieties and 3 different grains, including wheat, Upheaval will be a fitting tribute, not only to the bold Northwest-style IPA, but to Kurt and Rob Widmer’s unapologetic attitude in legacy of innovation.

Same in taste with strong dry toasty malts not sweet but a hint of sweet with some mellow piney bitter. Heavy in finish with grapefruit/pine bitter- fairly strong finish. Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a small head and nominal lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, light fruit with grass. Taste of citrus, bit of pine, light fruit sweetness and grain. Moderate bitterness and finish that is quite clean. Medium body, crisp, smooth and nicely balanced. Nice beer for the style.

Bottle from sampler pack. Pours hazy amber with white head. Aroma is floral and citrus hops, light toast, biscuit malt, and light grassiness. Flavor is balanced dry malts and hop bitterness with the the grassy hop notes eventually taking over and some light citrus esters to round things out. Medium body and carbonation.

From bottle. Murky copper pour with just a little white head. Nice retention and lacing. Nose is citrus and grass. Smells like summer. Nice carbonation and near perfect balance. A good punch of grassy bitterness to bring it home. This one’s a keeper.
