3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle bought from Trader Joes in Salem OR
Pours a pale orange colour with a large, thick off white head.
Fkoral, resiny hop aromas mainly but with strong aroma or caramel malts and maybe some wheat. Like.
Smooth yet very hoppy taste..resin and floral in aspect..
Good smooth thick mouthfeel ( must be the wheat)..long lasting hop after taste.
OK IPA not a fav though.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz Bottle: 7th July 2014, drank from a La Chouffe goblet at my daughters place in Newport Beach CA. Impressed. Poured a hazy gold with a white crown. hop notes filled the air, my nose and mouth, these guys like to mix their hops donít they. I got citrus, piney and floral notes from the aroma and taste with a solid malty base stopping the brew becoming too bitter or hop oriented. Nice easy drinking IPA with enough character to set it apart from most in this style.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
All categories dominated by pine and resin with a little grapefruit in the mouth and aftertaste. Ho-hum with so many many other better options available.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz from total wine. Murky dark orange color. Grapefruit pine and resin flavors and aromas. Aroma is mostly the citrus. The flavor has the pine and the finish is sticky resin hops again. A little aggressive for my preferences at this point but still good.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance: Pours an amber tinted gold. The body is fairly clear. Not much of a head at all. Quickly after the poor, all thatís left is a micro film of white.
Aroma: A mixture of pine resin and citrus essence. Also a tad floral.
Taste: Abrasive bitter chinook like hops, a citrus twang that pops out after the initial bitter blast, very dry malt. Finishes earthy.
Mouthfeel: Rough, full bodied, modest carbonation.
Overall: A pretty drinkable, great smelling IPA. Widmer has been doing a good job with these IPAs.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 7/26/14
Aroma: The nose is hop forward, pineapple and grapefruit, with underlying sweet, grainy malts
Appearance: It pours a murky orange color with a half inch foam of white head
Flavor: The flavor is sticky sweet early, with bitterness and spice on the middle and end palate
Palate: Medium-plus body, a little messy, with a long finish thatís somehow sticky and dry
Interesting beer. It feels a little flawed to me. Not exactly a standout in the style. The hop presence isnít nice enough to hide the flaws the show up. It just comes off as a little messy throughout. Not well-rounded enough.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured from a bottle into a pint glass golden.
Aroma is some piney bitterness.
Flavor is average. Nothing jumps out as spectacular. Usual pinecone subtle sweetness. A bitter finish. Just another medicore IPA. Pretty disappointed but then Widmer hasnít never really made my boat float.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft, Thirsty Moose Dover location. Hazy dirty golden/ amber color. Small white head in the pint glass. Aroma is pretty nice, grapefruit, oranges and big floral hops underneath the citrus. The flavor is balanced by the biscuit /cracker malt put still has light lingering floral hop bitterness. Body is a tad on the thin side but the flavor is really solid. Way better than I anticipated.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On draft, nice pour in a tall tulip glass. Short head, bright amber color. Grapefruit, grassy, caramel aroma. Hop bitterness is very apparent, not sticky like some IPAs. Finishes with a little chalkiness.
