COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with 6 different hop varieties and 3 different grains, including wheat, Upheaval will be a fitting tribute, not only to the bold Northwest-style IPA, but to Kurt and Rob Widmerís unapologetic attitude in legacy of innovation.

12 oz bottle bought from Trader Joes in Salem OR $1.35 Pours a pale orange colour with a large, thick off white head. Fkoral, resiny hop aromas mainly but with strong aroma or caramel malts and maybe some wheat. Like. Smooth yet very hoppy taste..resin and floral in aspect.. Good smooth thick mouthfeel ( must be the wheat)..long lasting hop after taste. OK IPA not a fav though.

Hazy amber color, small white head. Citrus, bread and yeast in the nose. Medium-bodied. Citrusy, piney bitterness. Somewhat malty ipa. Decent but needs to be rated fresh.

Impenetrable cloudy dull gold, thin white head, looks a bit flat; aroma is great, like a bucket of sweet, stewed oranges; taste is bitter, piny, hoppy tropical fruit; finish is nice: crisp, orange fruit, pith and twigs, like the whole tree has been crushed up, and with a pleasing dryness; liked it.

355ml bottle, poured into testing glass. A: Amber, hazy, minimal head, small amount of lacing, not overly lively looking. S: Farmyard funk and citrus. T: Hint of grapefruit, zesty, slight strawberry at the finish. M: Minimal carbonation, medium body, smooth, slipped down well, slight boozy burn gave a slight coarse edge. O: Balanced, subtle. Probably gets buried by the abundance of great West Coast IPAs but well worth drinking.

Bottle from Valhallaís Goat. Hazy amber body with a thin, lasting off-white head. Steady carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of honey, lemon and pine. Flavour of sweet malt, grapefruit, boozy orange, leafy hops and flowers. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Lively fizz. A typical US IPA (in other words, itís hoppy but the malt is a bit sickly sweet).

UPDATED: FEB 20, 2015 Hazy golden pour with thin white head. Maybe itís the haze, it appears dense and inviting. The aroma beckons with heavy citrus and floral notes. While the flavor carries citrus and pine, itís smoothed mos likely by the addition of wheat. Finish is quite bitter, which is an excellent ploy to get me sipping more frequently. Pretty delicious brew.
