Our Brewmasters’ Release - The three different red, caramelized, and dark wheat malts give this beer an intense red color that runs as deep as the flavor. The toasted grain flavors blend perfectly with the subtle spiciness of the hops just as the entirety fades to a smooth quick finish.

Serving type: bottle Appearance- Pours a crimson red with a very little cream colored head and little lacing. Aroma- Smell of caramel and of wheat (big surprise) T/P- Slightly hoping, with a Carmel aftertaste. Very crisp and low carbonation. Overall- This is a good beer, not the best I have had out of this brewery but decent. I could more than likely drink two in a row, but that would be about it.

Thanks to Hayduke. I have a sweet tooth when it comes to beer and wheat ales seldom satisfy it. Dark red brown that has a small tan head and light carbonation. Nose offers plenty of roasted malt with some nice subtle hops underneath. Flavor is also that roasted malt with some wheat. Some complexity below that. Sweet fruit, light spice, caramel, wheat and just a bit of clove. Akin to many Oktoberfest beers. This is not a sour beer at all and did provided nice sweetness. I also liked the low ABV.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours copper in color with an off-white head. The aroma is wheaty and toasted. This beer is thinner and has a low level of hops to the taste. It is very mild to the palate. It produces good lacing in the glass but the beer itself is not so great.

Beer poured a reddish brown with a thick, two finger head. The smell was slightly fruity, but other than that I couldn’t really place what the beer smelled like. The taste was not anything like I expected it to be, as it was a lot maltier than any other wheat beer I had ever tasted. There was only a slight fruit taste to the beer.

Bottle:   Copper hued Amber, fairly clear, large frothy light beige head, spotty lacing, light carbonation.   Soft wheat nose, a little cereal, seems sweet.   Moreso lagerish on the tongue, malty, some cereal, with the wheat aspect taking up the backside.   Clean, with some sweetness.   Yeah, seems almost more of a lager than it does a Wheat.   Does have a bit of an airy mouthfeel, but somewhat reminds me of a festbier with some wheat malt tossed in.   Nothing wrong with it, but was expecting a bit more wheatiness.

12oz bottle. Brass-amber color with some froth of head. Does not remotely resemble a wheat beer, and not at all cloudy. More akin to an amber in appearance and a Britt pale ale in aroma, flavor, and body. Dank, stagnant Britt hop aroma, with a stagnant hop flavor.

12 oz bottle. Amber pour, light bits of red. Aroma is wheat and yeast, light malt. Flavor much the same. Not one I’ll ever need to try again.
