Opaque dark brown black beer, good pale cream - tan coloured head. Palate is fresh and a little crisp from the minerally carbonation. Smooth dark malt, fair bit of lactose. Mild chocolate and coffee, pretty subtle. Nice mild pine hops, a trace of citrus and red berry fruits. Finishes soft. A really nice black IPA - mild and very smooth.
