1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
tastes like vegetables. a bit sweet with a vanilla like genuine sweetness. looks ok has good body and carbonation. slick going down. but that is not to say the taste is just -off setting- rudabaga carrot and root vegetables.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the Portland spring beer fest 2007. I always wanted Widmer to bring out a wit beer to take on the growing demand for blue moon in this area. Not quite as spicey and fruity as blue moon, but more along the lines of lost coast great white. Lighter on the spices, with a wheat and yeasty flavor. This turned out more like a corriander spiced hefe, could have used a more estery yeast strain to give it more character.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not a bad interpretation of the style, but this is a style I don’t care for.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A very spicy and dry beer that I think fits the style well, although my Belgian White beer knowledge is limited. Definately better than most of the repetitive beers they make.
