Looks attractive, but tastes plain and watery. I wouldn’t recommend this beer nor buy it again.

Slight hazy yellow with small white head. Banana, light dugh, coriander, slight grassy and sugary/candy sweetness. Light to medium bodied with slight watery feel. Not bad, but a bit thin and artificial tasting.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow beer. Aromas of lemon and coriander. Taste is again lemon and spice with a light bitter. Dry body. A decent white beer.

Tap tasted on 02/05/2014. Very clear colour with small head. Citrus, mostly lemon, on taste and in the aroma. Very light and drinkable white. Little of spicy in the aftertaste. Next one please!

(Tap, from the bar around the corner from the café near the mini-Rijksmuseum at Schiphol Airport)
Unfiltered / coarsely filtered hazy yellow with a healthy head. A bit of lemon and its zest in the aroma and a floral element reminiscent of chrysanthemum tea. Nice and full in the mouth, a milky fullness, with wheat and other light grains. Some aromatic herbs and lemon without seeming sour. Soft but not without character. Ends with a nice hop zing. I very much liked this, and it’s clearly better than your average ’white’!
Unusually, Phil did not share this.

Bottled at van Beeren, Amsterdam Hazy golden with a white head. Spicy and citric aroma; coriander and lime-zest. A bit too sweet. A lot of coriander in the flavour.

Typical belgian white. This one does not have much fruitiness or herbs in the flavor ( others in the style have more of that) but good mild bready flavor with pronounced yeast. Not sweet which is good. Can understand others find the subtle flavor weak. I like it.

Pours a hazy, pale yellow color with a weak carbonation and two fingers of white foamy head. The aroma is wheaty, slighty yeasty (not nice) along with some fruits to improve the situation. The taste starts sweet and spicy and continues with a bit of yeastiness. Finish is bitter, but another reminder why I don’t really like wheat beers. Not a bad one, just not my style.

Straight from bottle at Amsterdam Airport. Decided not go for the Heineken based on my last trip there. Tastes of fruit with hints of spice. Decent Witbier.
