Theis (2212), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 16, 2008 Draught at the brewpub. Clear orange/amber - offwhite head. Sweetness, light alcoholic, medium hoppy, candy, grassy. OK !!!
downender (1612), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Oct 4, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Deep bronze in colour with a big, off white head. Crisp malt aroma, with some grassy hops and a touch of hay. Flavour had some fruit, a hint of caramel, orange peel and a long dry finish. My favourite example of this style to date - great stuff. Rastacouere (5355), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Nov 1, 2007 Considering the style, Scores ranging from 1 to 5, 5 being the most intense

Comments: Very tight malt profile, firm toastiness, mildest acidity refreshment. All flawless extraction. Tasty Vienna malts. Faint herbal and earthy hops. Very, very balanced… orange tea, root and minty nuances. Complex and delicious, amongst my favourite Viennese offerings.
Geiserich (1540), Vienna, Austria Jan 22, 2005 Draught at the brewpub:
Light amber color. Well hopped Märzen, light herbal hop aroma with citrus notes. Taste is light sweet, malty fruity. Some bitter malt componentes. Dry hoppy finish. Quite o.k. but without real substance. Gazza (720), Worcester, Worcestershire, England Jul 2, 2004 A lovely drinking beer; amber in colour with a honeyed malt aroma and taste with an assertive bitterness in the aftertaste. Excellent. (Draught at Wiedenbräu, Vienna)
