Bottle in my Vienna hotel room. Almost clear pale gold beer, good white head. Palate is light, crisp and dry. Minerals. Fresh pale malt. Trace of suppressed hops. Finishes crisp and dry. A fresh air beer but a fresh fresh air beer!

Simple light bodied sweet malt blonde beer with medium carbonation muchlike any other helles you may come across.

(Tap) Es hat eine sonnengelbe Farbe, ist opaleszierend mit einer weißen Schaumkrone. Das Aroma ist süß, getreidig, puderzucker und ein bisschen würzig. Der Geschmack ist würzig, prickelnd und leicht süß. Die Bittere ist durchschnittlich.

Tap @ Brewpub, Vienna. Day 1 RBESG 2012. Pours clear golden with a white foam. Fresh, malty and hoppy. Grass, hay and bread. A bit of sulphur. Another well brewed Helles in Vienna.

RBESG 2012 - Day 1. Cloudy golden with a small white head. Malty aroma with a touch of sulphur. Sweetish grainy malty flavour with a nice bitter finish

19/07 On tap at the brewpub. My notes on it are all messed up, have only half of rating mixed with nussbrau. Anyway, it poured a very slightly hazy golden body with medium sized head. A bit stale grainy and hay aroma, free trip to the countryside as I wrote. Slightly bitter flavor...followed the aroma I believe. Herbal hops in flavor as well. Need to rerate to be sure of the flavor but I wasn’t amused by this one.

RBESG ’12, Vienna. On tap at the brewpub. Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of grain, light sulphur, not very nice. Flavour is light sweet, light floral, bitter malty, light hoppy finish. Taste is fine. Light-bodied.

Tap @ brewery during RBESG 2012. A bit hazy golden appearance with an off white head. Fairly floral, herbal, a bit husky, pale malty aroma. Dry, floral hoppy, husky flavor.

(draught) pours a hazy golden-yellow colour with a frothy white head. aroma of barnyard, straw and herbal hops, with hints of ground pepper and banana. flavour is mostly the same, heavy barnyard, with notes of yeast, hazelnuts and a slightly tart finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Golden clear beer, small white head. Earthy, some fresh yeast, potato. Small bitterness, more fierce later on. Okay.
