Commercial Description:

On tap in a restaurant in Burghausen, Germany. Poured to a hazy, golden yellow beer with a thin white head. Citrusy aromas with yeast. Initial flavor of wheat and finish with flavors of fruitiness and citrous.

Red-brown colored with strongly cloudy appearance. Little yellow head. Strongly grainy aroma with only mild banana and breadiness, maybe not the best dunkelweizen aroma for me. Medium bodied. Flavor is as aroma: grains dominate, banana comes up too. Medium carbonation. Some interesting licorice in drying aftertaste, still not the best in it’s style.

Thank you Masn/g2b.dk. It’s a hazy, dark amber beer with a huge, nice head. The aroma is sour with light hints of wheat. The flavour is sour and thin with light sweetness and notes of fruit. No pleasure....

Bottled. Murky amber coloured. Banana and caramel in the aroma and in the flavour. Slightly yeasty. Decent Dunkelweizen. Quite mild.

The aroma is sour. It has a sharp flavour with sweet notes in finish and aftertaste. Boring and uninteresting.

Bottle. Hazy orange colour with a big off-white head. Wheaty, light banana aroma and a sweet wheaty, light banana taste. Medium body and a sweet light dry finish.

An unclear brown beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet wheat - and so is the flavor, leading to a dry wheaty end, over a thin body. Lacks a lot of character compared to other Dunklesweizens.
