It’s golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of grain, malt, straw and flower. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of newly harvested grain, malt, flower and light straw. It’s incredibly smooth and well balanced.

Alter Fuchs Salzburg, 50cl. Bitter aftertaste, slightly malty, hoppy too. Drinkable, not amazing but does the job.

Bottle. Moderate malty, light smell of hay. Average sized white creamy-foamy head, normal long lasting. Clear yellow body. Light sweet start and finish, rather short duration. Creamy texture, rather lively carbonation, light to medium body. A nice Helles, not a boring one.

Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm (as Wieninger Helles - 5.0%). Pale golden, firm head. Creamy, lightly buttery papery malt. Medium sweet with well developed body and rounded mouthfeel. Low hop rate and bitterness. Quite beefy, yet mild helles.

(bottle) Slightly hazy yellow colour with a short white foamy head. Sweet malty aroma with hay and floral and herbal hoppy notes and a tinge of grape fruits. Light-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, smooth carbonated. Initially sweet malty taste, slightly sweet malty and herbal hoppy finish with a very light bitterness. Still a quite pleasant and aromatic brew, fresh (although my sample is two weeks over the given BB-date) and easy to drink. I like it.
