bottle as Winterbier. Clear deep golden colour, creamy white head. Caramalty start, intensively malty with not too much sweetness, slightly grainy and biscuity. Shy but aromatic hops in the finish.

50cl bottle. Pale golden colour with a white head with good lasting. Aroma is light malty and with some citrus notes. Flavor is mild bittery, malty and slightly bread and biscuits notes. Well balanced final. Carbonation is medium. Body is light to medium.

Pours clear gold. Sweet malts upfront with grassy hops and an earthy bitterness. Not bad

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, bread, grass and hops. Semi oily palate.

Bottled. A light golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of straw and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, hops, and malt.

Etwas kitschiges Etikett. Nicht sehr starker aber deutlich erkennbarer Hopfengeruch. Etwas hopfiger Antrunk, der sich schnell in eine sehr grasige Note wandelt, die von leichter Würze durchzogen wird. Ebenso wie der Antrunk ist auch der Mittelteil mild und gibt neben dem hopfig und leicht würzigen Aroma nicht viel her. Leicht malziger Nachgeschmack. Bei diesem Bier denke ich keinesfalls an Weihnachten, es ist meiner Meinung nach eher ein Frühlingsbier.

ABV: 5.8%. Clear medium to medium dark yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, cabagge water. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration,hay, straw, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110318]
