2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 beaconstreet (811) - Washington DC, USA - JUN 3, 2005
Served in the bottle with the stopper as shown in the picture. Drank this at the HI hostel (an HI hostel with a bar!!!), Salzburg, Austria. Somewhat grainy tasting, not overly special.

Bottle. Light golden in colour with a ever fading white head. Aroma of floral hops and cookie malts. Flavour was malty (caramel and light cookie dough), floral. Creamy mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finish is long and bitter. Thanks for sharing this one with me Adam.

Bah! I hated this one. It smelled and tasted like licking an unwashed sink or something. I poured it.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Geiserich (2579) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - JAN 11, 2005
Malt and hop aroma. Deep gold to light bronze colour, soft carbonation. Balanced between hop and malt, some alcohol notes. Light bitter finish. Overall (Premium Lager), in my opinion.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Jukkabro (3486) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 16, 2004
Golden colored, big white head. Mildly sweet and fruity aroma, hops come up stronger. Maybe some caramel comes can be noticed too, nice aroma. Thin to medium bodied. Little bit of watery start, some fruits and malts. Ending is nicely hopped, mild alcohol comes up too, which is not very usual for pilseners.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Dickinsonbeer (5075) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - NOV 6, 2004
I could have sworn this was a munich helles. Much smoothermaltier and slightly more body than a pils. Either way- thie beer was really good on tap in Austira. Full of flavor with a great malty yet not too sweet aroma. Backed up with a perfect amount of hops. Great beer.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Marko (3635) - Split, CROATIA - OCT 2, 2004
A suprisingly good Austrian pilsener. Has a nice malty smell, and is golden coloured with a big rapidly wanishing head. Has quite a pleasant taste, with some bitterness. Maybe a bit bland, but quite enjoyable. A notch above every other Austrian pilsener/lager, and maybe even Austrian beer I’ve ever tried. And the cap’s really apriciated.

picked a bottle of this up at a tankstelle because it looked nice. golden, mild white grape aroma, alas not much else to it, very light bitterness, pretty bland

Presentation in bottle is very nice but then goes downhill from there. Sweet grain aroma. Has a sour/bitter flavor that is a bit unpleasant. Not as much body as I would have expected.
