(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Slightly strawy and milky malty aroma with a whiff of grains and floral and subtle citric hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Strawy malty taste with hints of white bread, accompanied by mildly floral hops; mildly sweet and slightly bitter hoppy finish with an aromatic malt character and mildly floral hops. 23.VI.14

It’s golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of grain, bread, malt and flower. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of grain, malt, flower, light hay and flower. The finish is slightly dry.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty-grasy, not very dry. Finish with more grasy-dry notes, modest sourish. Okay.

Bottle from either Nick in Erlanger or Gerhard at Abseits. Clear gold thick white head. Decent pils style beer. Sweetish and fullish. But very drinkable, some hop sting on finish. Clean pale malts. Tasty

On tap at hutt’n in Nuremberg. Nothing particularly wrong with this one but in a tasting with five other landbiers it was the least interesting. Simple clear golden with a splotchy head; steady malt profile with a touch of vanilla; lacking in bitterness, not much going on

Bottle. Grainy aroma with a herbal hop note. Golden, low head. Chewy fullbodied grain with a good rough herbal and grassy counterpoint. Solid Helles.

Bottle 50cl.
Clear light to medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay toasted, light hoppy, green grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091002]

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear yellow with a firm white head. Very clean and very German aroma of malt and flowery hops. Medium body, again clean malt but the bittering hops dominate. 021009
