Bottle 50cl. @ home.
Clear medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090729]

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2007 Draft. An orange beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with a light note of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and a lovely hoppy finish.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) Pilsener golden with a handsome, thick, white head. Lightly hoppy nose. Soft mouthfeel, very smooth and malty with some lightly sweet pilsener malt. Almost no bitterness. Pleasant. 190206 and 111106

Bottled (from meinbiershop.de, found in an older box). Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bready malts, some sweet maltyness as well as some herbs, grass and mild salty notes. Flavour is being rather similar with some slight floral notes as well. Smooth palate.

Malty aroma and flavor with some boiled milk. Some hopbitterness. Boiled milk aftertaste. Mediocre helles.

Süßlicher Antrunk, in dem nach und nach Getreidenoten emporkommen und sich lange halten. Der Hopfen ist erkennbar, spielt aber keine große Rolle – dafür sorgt er für Frische. Große Veränderungen sucht man hier vergeblich, die süffige Grundstimmung bleibt so erhalten, auch wenn die Süße fast unbemerkt schwächer wird. Dunkel getreidiger Ausklang, der durch einen Hauch Fruchtigkeit außerordentlich fruchtig wirkt. Gelungenes Lager mit der beliebten fränkischen Süffigkeit!

Bottle (@ Landbierparadies): Slightly hazy,golden to orangey coloured, small white head; barnyard smell with a "taste of honey" and a touch of hops; sweetish (honey) and moderate bitter flavour; lingering, but light bitter finish. Not really one of my franconian favourites.............

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a loose foamy white head. Quite sweet biscuit-like malty nose, accompanied by grainy notes and a touch of vegetables. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Malt-accented taste with a high level of residual sweetness; sweet, even a bit sugary finish with poor traces of bitterness. Too sweet and one-dimensional for my liking (05.X.08).

Bottle @ Uncle Chris’ house in Fürth. Light, clear yellow appearance with a white head. Grainy, straw, a bit herbal/floral hoppy aroma. Crisp, lightly fruity, a little chewy, grainy pale malty, light lemon flavor. Easy to drink.

Golden, short to average and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, some bread and faint grassy hoppyness.
