(2-Jan-11) - Simple sweet apple aroma. Clear pale yellow colour and light sparkling bubbles. Simple apple and stark steely flavour. Slight tart steely finish and light apple tart aftertaste.

on tap at the wig and pen. a bit of a disappointment this one - not a whole lot of subtlety, just some cider vinegar acidity, raw sugar, fizz and then flatness

Tap at the brewpub. Typical cider really, although seemed to have an artificial sugariness to it, and the apple sweetness was dulled down. There’s better cider around.

Tap. Pours clear sparkling pale straw with no head. Faint cidery aroma, barely any fruit. Mild sweetness and fruit flavour, medium acidity and a mineral water like dryness. Light bodied, lively carbonation and a very short finish.
