2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Ghastly, tastes like washing up liquid smells, a confusing and muddle of over peppered ginger wishing to be something it’s not. It’s not a beer that you should drink is what it’s not.
Lucky it’s a season beer and not part of their production line.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
I quite like this. reminds me of good times at the ChCh Arts Centre supping on a Ginger Tom at the Dux. Just as good as the good ole Ginger Tom, very close.
Loses its head real quick which makes it look flat in the glass, but has a good ginger bite and I do get the honey and lemon coming through. Nice.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Quite a light style of ginger beer, where the ginger does not completely dominate the beer. Very thin on the palate.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
The head is medium, body blond. It smells fruity, lot ginger, bit scarf. The taste is a bit scarf, ginger, fruity-flowery, refreshing, not bad!

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle from Plonk. Clear bright golden, very little head, strong ginger aroma, taste of ginger, sickly sweet. Wouldn’t class this as a beer, more like a softdrink.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Brillant on a lazy summers afternoon. Easy drinking, begins with a hit of ginger, and a spicy finish.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The beer is a hazy transparent light yellow-orange colour. It appears thin, well carbonated and had a white head that shot through in short order. There’s a lovely aroma of ginger that wafts strongly from the glass. Crystallised ginger is by far and away the dominant aroma with honey and lemon taking very much a back seat. Those same aromas dominate the flavour at first, but then the honey and lemon come through strongly in the flavour. Then it softens and becomes zesty and refreshing, clean and rewarding. I can imagine this beer with a Thai green curry. I rather like this.
