COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Pale yellow with a thin white diminishing head. Sweet, almondy nose with small hints of hops and sugar. Really sweet, candy-ish flavour. Notes of fudge and syrup. Warming alco-feel. sweet in finish as well.

2006. Strong alcohol taste. Rather malty, but not a pleasant taste at all. More for collectors than for drinkers.

2005. Beautiful clear amber (dark golden) color with okay head. Hoppy aroma. Strong beer but fine with food. Not so much malt taste.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2008 Bottle. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. OK malty aroma, but it tastes of bad alcohol. Very bad and powerfull finish. Not a good combination of oily texture and much too much carbondioxid. Vintage 2005

Bottle. 2006. White head. Beautiful clear yellow body. Malt aroma. Strong alcoholic malt flavor kills whatever this beer might have tasted of.

UPDATED: JUN 11, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Vintage 1999 at 9,9% ABV. Dark golden with a pretty, full head. Immensely full-bodied, sweetish with a glowing alcohol. But rather nicely done for a super strong lager. 6/3/6/2/12=2,9 131199 Vintage 2000: Fully golden, limited head. Extremely potent with a burning alcohol. Bitter finish on a sweet, malty background. But not as bad as could be expected. 6/3/6/3/12=3

The 2004 features a very nice, attention-grabbing piece of artwork on the label. But a piece of art this malt liquor is not. Begins with a pleasant medium-gold appearance and an aroma you can nose from a mile away – huge alcohol and a touch of honey. Thick with alcohol and oil-based house paint, the palate and flavour hit you like an uppercut, with a bitter aftertaste that makes you feel like you’ve lost the fight. Floats like a super-heavyweight, stings like a bee.
