Bottle. Pours clear light golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops, maæt and booze in the long nose. Sweet taste of malt, deafened by the powerful alcohol note. OK but nothing revolutionary.

Can. Pours a light golden body with a small white head. Aroma is pale malts, sweet grains, maize and booze. Dense, and a bit pungent. Taste is sweet grains, pale malts, strong boozy tones, hints of almonds and marzipan. Booze kinda killed the cat on this one. Drinkable if you wanna get drunk. Also, I don’t see why Carlsberg bothers with an art project on beer cans clearly marketed for the park benches and back alleys of Copenhagen... :-P

Smelled faintly of urine and tasted disgusting. Probably the worst beer I ever tasted. Poured it into the sink after a few sips.

2012 edition. Copper pour. Small film of white bibbles no lacing. Malty aroma with some hints of corn and a noticeable alcohol presence. Malty flavor that is quickly overrun by alcohol. Sweet, but hot. Not overly bad, but not balanced.

April 2009: Bottle was the 2008 version, wierd label, picture of a bald blokes face, half blue half flesh coloured. Brown bottle holding 33cl of beer that was slightly out of date (two weeks actually). Poured into a Hoegaarden Grand Cru stemmed tulip shaped glass. Looked like a Dort, meaning a deep old gold colour, bright, clear and with a good white head on top. The head fell away early, as did my liking of the beer, read on. Smells like a good Belgian Blonde, yeasty and interesting. Tastes like a lager on acid, what a complete contrast to the look and smell, Christ this one strong and unhealthy brew, no wonder they number the bottles (mine was 2806169, I can’t believe they sold that many?), two sips and I could feel the headache begining to form. Alcohol for alcohols sake, I can imagine the Danish lowlife falling over on street corners after drinking a couple of these, not a pretty thought. The Danes do a few of these heavy super strength brews and I haven’t found one I really enjoyed yet. This was the last of the beers I obtained in Copenhagen last year, I picked a very poor selection to bring home and this is about the worst of a sorry bunch. My own fault, waited until just before leaving to buy anything and had to rush round a rough area corner shop to fill my suitcase with whatever I could find. This is one nasty piece of work
