2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from trade with faroeviking. It pours a clear, golden body with a small white head leaving some fine lacings. Weak on the nose, with a little touch of alcohol, grains and fruityness. The flavor is on the grainy, malty side, with some fruityness trying to balance, and some alcohol to disturb. Medium body, not much warmth from the alcohol, but it’s evident in the finish too. It’s sure drinkable, but really boring. I see no need for Carlsberg to continue producing this one, except for maybe people in Elsinore still wanting it. (080426)
