Bottle from Hop Pocket, Bishops Frome; 7.07.13 consumed at home in garden whilst cooking a curry 12.07.13 Pours Gold, in fact warm gold with busy carbonation. Mushy slightly sweet apples on nose. Good tanginess, sweet then moving to dryness, bit soft with tart and dry back end. Its fine but sonething just doesn’t click with me with this. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov11 3.0

Sampled @ GBBF day 3. Slightly unclear golden color, no head. Smell and taste apple, apple peel, quite dry finish. Slightly sharp.

Craft - Rich and spicy, almost like pie. Rich gold with no head. Almost vinegar up front with a less harsh sourness. Rich meaty flavours with some bitterness as well. Very complex and interesting.

Bag in a box at the Stable, Bristol 14/2/2014. I had the medium version, there are dry and sweet versions too. Amber in colour with slight carbonation. A solid, well balanced cider, with plenty of apple fruit, a touch of sweetness and a gentle finish with some lingering dryness. Good.

500ml bottle from Over Farm, Cheltenham. For a new one I was pleasantly surprised by this. A nice light amber colour, it immediately hits you with a sweet green apple bite, before slowly soothing the back of the palette with a subtle tannin zing. Has a refined texture, light and summery yet possessing enough alcohol to command your attention. Very nice indeed.
