3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Ok, so this is probably one of the strangest beers I’ve ever smelt. It’s a slight rusty amber colour, clear, thin white foam head. Nose is pungent, and so complex and dissonant that my senses leap back from it. There’s good stuff in there like potent fresh raspberry, berry sour, herbs, citrous acidic, but then there’s some decay notes too\; malt vinegar, urine, funky farmyard, Brett yeast. And some black pepper too. Crazy. On the taste there’s much more balance. Crisp, refreshing, berry fruit, raspberry, slight vinous white wine, a light sour Berliner Weiss bitterness, slight urine acidic, lemon citrous, On the tongue it has a spicy and slight pepper linger. Weirdly once you’ve tasted it the nose doesn’t seem so crazy. It has a light sparkling wine quality to it like many of WB’s sours. It all comes together nicely. This is like the LSD of beers.

3.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Interesting beer, where the nose has a of intrigue. Pours a rich golden colour with a pink hue. At the moment I think the passionfruit is dominating the brew, which is taking away from the overall package.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle at home in London. I think I got it from Utobeer. Pours clear, pink-gold with a frothy. The nose has some tangy berries, grape skins, mild acetic twang and suggestions of pepper. Light sweet flavor with moderate tart berries, further skins and pits, definitely some peppery spice. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Balanced and dynamic finish, moderate tartness, clean pepper, melon, passion fruit, melon. Really nice. Great complexity.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle cracked by Zero in Holland. Pours a pinkish orange color, head was small and so was the lace. Aromas and taste were brilliant with peach, passionfruit, nectarine, sugar, hibsicus and apples. This had a lot going on and it was all good. Cheers.

Bottle at Red Squirrel. Hazy orange with a pink tinge, thin head. Good saison aromas, lots of pepper and fruit. Taste has a sour note, and something srcumpy-cidery. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but I enjoyed it.
