260413. Bottle at home. Pours hazy golden with a frothy head. Aroma ripe fruit, Belgian yeast, spices. Nothing really saisony about this product. Mode like a spicy Belgian blond.

Bottle. Nose is grain, pineapple, grasses, slight yeast slight spice. Taste, is citrus, spice, herbs slightly floral. The hops are all powerful in the palette, slightly overpowering for the style. Finish is very grapefruit and sharply bitter.
A bit of a disappointment, being much too (American) IPA in it’s style. It’s also competing in a style with some of the most accomplished beers, so there is little reason to return.

Refreshing citrus, floral and orange with aromas of barnyard funk low carbonation and moderate bitterness and watery mouthfeel. Good interpretation of the style, with a low abv. At twice the price of Saison Dupont unlikely I’ll be buying this often.
Would make a good bbq or festival quaffer.

Bottle. A gusher when the bottle was opened but a quite flat beer appears after all the fucking cleaning up. A bad start for this beer but my mood soon lifts after one sniff - soap (not bad though), lemon and spice. Flavour has much the same as the aroma with a hint of the saison funk and a pithy orange finish. Very good.

i like the flavors that come through and though it wants to be a Belgian style, it comes off as its own beer. Nice head retention and a lovely hop nose to it. These guys are another English brewery who have decided to do something different than the already done over and over, brown beer. Keep up the good work.

Pours initially clear golden with some haziness later. Big white head of tiny bubbles and good meringue-like finish to the head. Lively bubbles rising up from the centre of the glass, remeniscent of Saison Dupont. Huge overpowering hop scent from Sorachi Ace. Perfume, lemon blam, wild flowers, tangerine scent. Soft sweetness quickly gives way to the enormous whack of hops resulting in a very brief spell of farmhouse ale characteristics, only to be overpowered by the hops. Rosemary, tangerine, and grapefruit with a strong bitter finish like biting into the skin of a grapefruit. Great attempt to a Belgian style Saison but overpowered with huge hops creating a slightly unbalanced beer.

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Cloudy yellow coloured with lemon and floral hoppy flavours, earthy notes and a warming, creamy spicy finish.

Nice cloudy pale orange, persistent head. chunky sinky bits. Rotting grains aroma, some eggy farts. Grainy husky body, crisp carbonation. Only saison in that it’s grungy, but not in a good way. Dry. finish peppery and bitingy bitter. Homebrewy, and messy. Yeasty. Dear UK brewers, don’t brew saisons.

Tart berries, yeast, grainy malt, sourness and mild bitterness in the aroma.
The flavour grainy malt, yeast, bitterness and something quite bad.
