COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Epic by name, epic by nature, this Farmhouse Ale is a transcontinental fusion of Belgium’s eclectic beer culture and the feisty hops of North America brought to life with the aid of West Country artisanal brewing wizardry and judicious use of the US-grown Sorachi Ace hop. On the nose, the hops deliver a big splash of tropical fruit, followed by ripples of well-seasoned spiciness spreading outwards. In the mouth a tangy, bittersweet fruitiness holds sway, while tangerine oranges tap dance their way across the tongue in the finish.

Cloudy pale yellow color, average sized white head with some lacing. Very fruity aroma, citrusy, spicy, some pineapple notes, slightly tarty. Light to medium body, average carbonation. Taste is fruity, citrusy, slightly tarty, pineapple notes in finish. Balanced, tasty, but it lacks body.

Cloudy Apple juice in appearance with white foam. Very fruity aromas of sweet apples, apricots and nectarines. Light on the tongue, quite watery but it enhances this style of beer. Tastes of malt and citrus flavours, with a slight roasted aftertaste. Very refreshing, highly enjoyable.

Unfiltered, very hazy gold color somewhat peach with small white foam. Aromas of, fruits like peach and citrus. Also smells of straw, dust and malt with light hop touch at the end. Palate, medium texture and light body, with small carbonation and nice long hoppy/citrusy finish. Taste, is quite sweet and simple. Tastes softly of lemons and hops. Overall, very nice saison beer, nice simple and refreshing, beautiful color and aromas all that you need for simple nice saison.

Bottle at home. Hazy golden with fizzy white head. Lemon peel, spring onion, lime, quite herbal and soft spicy yeast with a light yoghurt touch. Dry grains and biscuits, grassy towards the finish. Light bitter with barely any sweetness. Medium bodied and very dry.

I always struggle with saison and do so here too. Quite a high carbonation and overpowering (if you ask me) funk from the yeast. I love the wild and sour brews from these guys. Plenty of that here but maybe less creative than in others.
