COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Epic by name, epic by nature, this Farmhouse Ale is a transcontinental fusion of Belgium’s eclectic beer culture and the feisty hops of North America brought to life with the aid of West Country artisanal brewing wizardry and judicious use of the US-grown Sorachi Ace hop. On the nose, the hops deliver a big splash of tropical fruit, followed by ripples of well-seasoned spiciness spreading outwards. In the mouth a tangy, bittersweet fruitiness holds sway, while tangerine oranges tap dance their way across the tongue in the finish.

Bottle from Corks of Cotham, Bristol. Slightly hazy gold in colour, with a decent white head. Aroma of apricot, lemon, sherbet and sour dough, with some juicy fruit gum in the background. Flavour of tart and yeasty stone fruits, oranges, peppery hops and green herbs, finishing off dry and mouth puckering. Very good.

- Cloudy, as WB like to make ‘em. - Nose: lemon zest, some spice – very much like Celis White – and a splash of seawater. - Body: v light. - Longish, dry finish – with a dash of savoury, dried coconut. Lemon/seawater tang returns, too - Dry, delicately balanced. Thought it would have more brett, for some reason.

Astringent bublegummy saison. Dry. I am not sure whether I really like or dislike this beer. It certainly is complex. Aroma is not what I expected but might be due to the age.

Bottle @ Camping RateBeers 2015; Nat & Winderig, courtesy of the crew! Pours a clear golden beer with a small white head on top. Aroma is light citric, fruity peppery in there. Flavor is light sweet and fresh, short bitter and spicy aftertaste. Decent, light bretty note in the aftertaste. Pretty cool.
