Epic by name, epic by nature, this Farmhouse Ale is a transcontinental fusion of Belgium’s eclectic beer culture and the feisty hops of North America brought to life with the aid of West Country artisanal brewing wizardry and judicious use of the US-grown Sorachi Ace hop. On the nose, the hops deliver a big splash of tropical fruit, followed by ripples of well-seasoned spiciness spreading outwards. In the mouth a tangy, bittersweet fruitiness holds sway, while tangerine oranges tap dance their way across the tongue in the finish.

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Slightly hazy pale golden body with a thin white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of lemon, orange and faint spice. Flavour of sharp blood orange and straw. Medium body with a spritzy mouthfeel. A very drinkable, refreshing Saison.

Bottle. Slightly hazy light lemon ale with an incredibly thick white head. Nose is heavily spicy, resins, chives, onion. There’s some spring onion in the mouth, imparting spiciness, and some light fruits - tangerine. Mouthfeel is light and moist. Some vegetable tastes and more spiciness in the finish.

Keg at The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer, Bristol. Hazy gold with white head. Fruity, yeasty beer, sharp orange notes with a slightly tart background. Some lemon, some pear sharpness, then a big late fruitiness. Very decent.

Bottle shared by czar, thanks! Pours a light gold with a huge white head that leaves intense lacing. Aroma is of pilsener malt, flowers, fruity and spices. This smells like my kind of saisons, really. Taste is fruity and a little grainy, dry and moderately bitter. It finishes with a lingering peppery/herbal sensation. Carbonation is medium-high, body light to medium. Nice one! Makes me curious to drink the other "Wild" Beers now.

pours clear light golden with a frothy and rocky white head, good retention and lacing. very yeasty, lightly dusty and minty, early stage bretts, pale grainy cereals, wicked sorachi ace - floral, fruity pomegranate, berries, dill, lemon, maybe a bubblegum touch. lively carbonation, light body, dry citrusy-herbal-spicy finish. interesting, tasty and good!

[Bottle (11.2oz)] Pours a hazy, bubbly golden-orange with a huge semi-lasting fluffy off-white head and lots of lacing. Aroma of lightly funky yeast, wheat, herbs & spices along with some fruit, straw, light grassy hops and citrus. Flavour of yeast and spices first followed by some citrus, other fruit, grassy hops and a dry finish. Average to medium bodied. A solid version of the style.

Bottle at home. Pour is clear golden with a pillowy white head and great lacing. Effervescent, straw, mint leaves, fresh cut grass, candied oranges, basil, oregano, and biscuit in the aroma. Taste is phenolic, straw, grapefruits, coriander, floral, fresh honey, zippy, crackery, and herbal with a dry, lightly spicy finish. Medium body with crisp carbonation. This is a really different, well-built saison. Nice stuff!

33cl bottle at home. Pours cloudy lemon yellow with white pillows head. Aroma is fantastic. Peach, tropical fruits, sugar, bread, spice. Flavour is sweet malt, biscuit, spicy cinnamon notes. Mild carbonation with a touch of bitterness on the finish. A little bit light on the finish which just takes away from it but overall a good beer.

Keg at The Pit Chapel Allerton Leeds. Cloudy unfiltered beer with a creamy head. Smell of peach and other stone fruits with a hint of citrus sour. Taste is medium bodied coating your mouth with stone fruits, tropical with a hint of sour. Very good beer!
